in 2016, could Bobby Lashley still be a star in WWE?

Dude still looks the same physically as he did almost 10 years ago in WWE.

I think he could still be a star if given the chance.

See Big E or Titus

And that answers your question and shows yall is max potential.

And being that he probably wouldnt do what "reciting scripts" he may actually be lower in the card so no

Titus isn't a good example at all.

For Big E, there's still time for him to get a major push.

To me, Lashley is the more entertaining version of Lesnar.

LOL... Titus is the perfect example.... for WWE standards, he has more of a personality than Lashley

As far as Big E, since he's more of a comedy wrestler now, I think its over for him as far as opportunity. He'll probably be on some black Big Show shyt from here on out.... occasionally be nasty but for the most part just be funny and "entertaining"

This has been "his major push" at best they may give him a IC run. But he'll never win the Rumble and he probably wont be the "flagship" champ.

Lashley is great in TNA being himself and using his own words..... but I dont believe he'd be as great of a "script reader" as Titus and Big E

And that would hurt him

Lashley is way better in the ring compared to Titus.

Big E easily could transition out of the comedy role.

But I agree that TNA is a much better fit for Lashley. :ehh:

I guess it's a blessing in disguise that Lashley's run with WWE didn't work out. Hayes is still a bytch though. :mjpls:

No, I agree, he's better in the ring than Big E and Titus combined..... but you know in the E its really 90% talking 5% ring work 5% something else.

He would probably come off awkward saying some forced shyt in the ring for 3-8 mins. Not to mention, we all know he'd probably have to scale back his style to some boring style so we wouldnt see his true talent.

I mean look at Brock... he can do SOOOOOOOOOO much and they just forced dude to become a suplex machine.

I don't know if they "forced" Brock to do that. We already know that Brock is money over everything. If he can earn a big paycheck just by doing some suplexes and an F5, he would do it in a heartbeat. He doesn't really care about entertaining the fans or having a compelling match.

 Of course, he's improved a lot in the ring and on the mic.
