facts. think of all the shyt men were obligated to do not only by society but also in their own minds back in the 50s, 60s, etc... men really had to hold it down back then there was literally no other way. even the weakest of the weak took that whole being a man shyt seriously. today? come'on... i prefer today. i can do whatever, get in the mix if I want, be left alone if I want, doesn't matter..

yeah im not saying anything was better back than for anybody really. maybe life was simpler and all that but like esco says on "new world" - nothing makes me happier than seeing today. i talk to my dad all the time about that, i'd get nostalgic for shyt i had nothing to do with like shopping for vinyl at a record store and he was like " that was a pain in the ass. you know how awesome it is to google something and just download it and throw it on the iPod right away? i'd have to walk to the record store and hope no one copped what i was trying to get" etc..
