i honestly don't know anymore, i feel so disconnected from hip hop now outside of this site. because if it wasn't for seein' different artists' names and music on here, i wouldn't know who the fukk was who and still don't a lot of times because there's so much shyt and so much of it sounds so much alike that it's just noise to me a lot of times these days. i can't even keep up with it because it's constantly new nikkas and music comin' out it feel like everyday. so i'm interested in seein' who y'all think and view as the best rapper in the game right now

K-Rino has been the best rapper currently for a while to me. Best lyrics, best concepts, best stories probably, most emotionally relatable music, most substance, could go on. Some years he gets strong competition like when Mega dropped Mega Philosphy, that was great and was competition for anybody, Face's album was dope last year, but K-Rino just dropping consistent high level quality work over and over again with immense skill, artistry and craftmanship. That consistent artistry on that level makes him the best rapper currently to me. His ish is so dope and he's on such a great run also you can almost guarantee every project he drops will be amoung the best or the best 1 of the year. He gets that title for me, not to mention a top 3 of all time and at the rate he's going even that could enhance eventually...

kendrick is more technical and lately has been experimenting with live instrumentation and im fukking heavy with it

drake can put a track together better than anyone in music and he definitely created a sound. that toronto sound is so catchy and mesmorizing

j cole crafts the best albums and he can produce. his concepts are better than kendricks imo too. kendrick be too metaphorical sometimes, i like j coles more straight forward approach
