So what should we call those types of people?
c00ns and bedwenches need to be called out. They're a cancer.
I don't know, but anything other than c00ns and bedwenches, etc..

nikka shut up. We still aint heard that mixtape u been plugginREP!!!!![]()
Muhfukkas love claiming it as a term of endearment but you gotta realize, at the very same time, we've NEVER removed the negative connotations associated with it and WE NEVER WILL. The history is too deep and entrenched into our own language/pathology associated with the word. Just think how often you say or hear it in a matter that's NOT endearing...
- I hate that n*****
- Imma kill that n*****
- bytch n*****
- fukk n*****
- n*****s always (insert something negative)
- n*****s ain't shyt
- etc
Ask yourselves, what words do we use in our language that are ONLY positive references to one another and how often do you use them? What we speak out is what we think out. I asked what's the opposite of a 'n*****' once on here before and I don't think I ever got a straight answer... Does anybody know?

Well i certainly dont mean 3/5ths of a manWe're not talking about the mixtape in here. But this is exactly what I'm talking about. What do you and the others in this thread REALLY mean when you say 'nikka' in this kinda context?Let's unpack that

I feel u. But thats not the word itself thats enabling that. That is more of a societal issue. Words have power as u said. But that power depends on the intent behind the person using it.I can work with that answerLet's look at it from this angle: We hear statements pretty often along the lines of,
"nikkas kill each other over turf or a flag, but won't do a damn thing when white folk/etc move in"
Now... the brothers that do this see themselves and each other as 'nikkas', but not the white man, asian man, etc. So yeah, '3/5ths of a man' isn't explicitly meant, but isn't that still underlying message?Even with all this endearment a 'nikkas' life is worthless if they cross the wrong 'nikkas' path. Them white folks tho...
but a white person is not a 'nikka'

The power in words could be trasferred also. Also depends on the energy behind it. Just like the word "bytch" women get mad @ that word of a nikka say it. But they refer to themselves as that all the time. But hell we could start callin women Pokemon instead of "bytch" and depending on how we use it, after a while women gonna have a certain reaction to it.
I see what ur sayin tho. I really hate that logic too. I hate how a breh will be quick to clap another breh just for sellin in his spot or just being unrecognizable. But a cac got free reign to walk thru any turf he pleases.
