i've heard just about every cash money/no limit release too. i'm talking even ones like ms tee/pimp daddy and west coast bad boyz high fo xmas/lil ric. anyone can hook up that pmw(forget the rest of the name) album? that's about the only one i've never been able to hear.

you taking me back with this one. I used to mess with cash money heavy back in those days. I remember we had just moved late in 95, and my brother and me met our close friends later the next year when they moved into the community. it was a four year difference for siblings in both families and both families were same age so we clicked instantly. this was the time I started getting into rap. i remember tupac had the changes video out around that time and that was one of the first songs I had heard. I knew about him and remember watching the news about his shooting at the studio but didn't mess with his music till later. so around 96, it was all hot boys for me and the crew. back then there was a music request channel called the box. kind of like mtv jams is now. they would play all their hits. back that ass up, bling bling, hot boys they on fire, I need a hot girl. the four of us would chill at our crib or theirs after school or on weekends and watch music videos all day. everybody had a hot boy they claimed. I think mine was weezy. them manny fresh beats were banging. some people would be like what up Manny fresh whenever they saw me. cash money got me into the rap game and started friendships that still exist today. so they definitely had a big part of my childhood. I sure miss the box, just as much as I miss our goldeneye marathons. the original mp legend. those were the days.

I just voted for juvenile. but my vote might not count. i wasn't into rap like that when no limit was at their best.

true.

its way too many to name. cant narrow it down to 4.

easily my favorite timeframe for any hip-hop city, ever.

6-star thread.
