I've been trying to tell people they aren't all year. They have no rim protection and only two players who can play on both sides of the ball. Everyone else is a liability on offense or defense.....they don't have two way players like the Raptors.

Lou Will, Shamet, Montrezl are all liabilities on defense.

Bev is a liability on offense.

Ibaka and gasol both have won defensive players of the year even though older now still great defenders

guys like Lowry and van vleet undersized but annoying

siakam and anunonby can guard any position and both guys should be on the all nba defensive team

if you don’t play defence you don’t plan on the raptors

The best thing about the Raptors defense is that they don't actually have a given defense type that they always play. They can switch it up and it makes it extremely difficult to plan against. They make huge adjustments in game and can confuse most offenses. The raptors biggest weakness is that they have no go to scorer in the clutch. For example against Philly last playoffs their whole team was ass on offense they had to rely on Kawhi to carry them through big stretches. So basically the Raptors will go as far as their offense goes. If they shoot the ball well they are a contender if not favorite to win the east at the very least.
