i like the raptors as a team
i dont like the undue smugness and arrogance of their fanbase.
even if you think casey couldnt take you to the next level, he helped turn the raps into a respectable 50 win franchise that made the playoffs ever year. that wasnt the norm before he got there. that deserves some respect.
and again, casey had to run wit derozen and lowry for what? 5 years lmao no one in winning with those guys as your two best players. i would like to think casey overachieved with those guys.

Significantly improve? Half of the team we have now were here when Casey was head coach, Gasol has been injured half the year and no Kawhi or Danny Green yet the team looks like it hasn't missed a step.

i said massai added kawhi gasol and danny green to a 50 win team. i acknowledged that most of these guys were here when casey was there, but im also saying massai never gave casey the team he gave nurse.
regular season has never been a issue for da raps. even when derozen was around. so not missin a step theory doesnt really apply until they show what they can do in the playoffs ( without kawhi and with nurse)
and again, im not weighing them on the same scale as last year, because even tho they are da champs, they are missin da main person that got them there.
