:mjlol:Figures that I see @Bryan Danielson goofy head in here. He the type to ignore two years of injury reports and still say “He’s HIM.”, like that man didn’t spend the last two seasons on the injury report with “vibes and soft tissue.” and even if the 49'ers made it... same story: Get dressed up for the Super Bowl, Choke on confetti, and Walk off the field like extras in someone else’s legacy.

49ers rotate corners a lot. We need him more as a veteran. We have players but they are all like 22-23 our lead corner is only 25. We can even sit him the first couple of weeks and and make sure he is good but we've done well with getting beat up corners from other teams and making them productive. There is precedent and he's going to have an active market.

Just checked what teams have cap space and the Eagles can sign him:beli:

Lions have space but the Pats are the one team that can over pay him.

GB must be making a move for Ramsey.
BBQ chicken and brittle, the champs don't need any part of that:scust:

I’m not surprised but I’m not happy. Jaire was Brian Gutekunst’s first draft pick and he’s the only one who’s a become an All-Pro!!!

When healthy he’s elite. But that’s the issue. He’s missed 20 games the last two seasons.

Now we have to rely on Nate Hobbs to play outside when he’s better in the slot. Nixon has convinced the front office he can play CB1 and he’s supposed to be your 4th CB and punt returner. I do like Valentine and think he’s got a bright future but this is not an impressive group of CBs. We also don’t have elite pass rushers.

Also, Gutekunst gives out extensions pretty generously. Look at these.

David Bakhtiari - $102M
Jaire Alexander - $84M
Devondre Campbell - $50M
Aaron Rodgers - $150M
Preston Smith - $53M
Rashan Gary - $107M
Kenny Clark - $64M
Jordan Love - $220M

Gary played like he stole money last year. Clark was a non factor in 2024 but he revealed he played hurt last year. And Love had his struggles last year but to be fair he was hurt and got on a roll later in the year.

Rest of those guys were cut or traded.

This is the problem with the Packers. Gutekunst is good enough to keep us in postseason contention. But he’s not good enough to build a Super Bowl team that breaks through.

Even at our best the past 10 years they haven’t been the better team. They’ve been carried by elite performances from players more than anything

The last truly great Packers team was 2014 and they fukd that up in epic fashion against Seattle

Every other year since then they’ve been playing above their talent
