He is vocally gifted but his music reminds me of cheap yogurt from the supermarket...
You dont notice it when you mix it in a smoothie, but you just cant tolerate eating all of it alone...

He got some good songs, but his music overall dont do it for me

I think Brian McKnight works better as a live artist than a studio artist imo. Like some of his shyt on his CDs :patrice: but then you hear the live versions and shyt slaps.

First person I thought of...but Keith got him. Keith can't sing for shyt, but he got hits. Joe got him too. Kenny Lattimore and Carl Thomas hit the same lanes, but Brian has more star power.

Because Verzuz doesn't quite get the matchups right...imma say John Legend. John Legend is the next gen version of him. That smooth, non-aggressive, non-threatening, play on volume 2 while you work at your office job while you punch numbers in an excel spreadsheet type music.
