Honestly, I'm not a fan of most white artists out there, and I'm the first person to say hip-hop is black culture and white people are guests in it. That's my opinion anyways.

This will be my very first time on this board sticking up for a white dude. I don't think it's fair to hold that against Alchemist. He's not a culture vulture like a lot of white cats in the game, and he's as knowledgeable and immersed in the culture as anyone else. It shows in his music. His music is amazing, and he has the respect of everyone in the art form. Jay-Z is pretty much the only artist that he hasn't worked with.

His music is incredible and he's been working consistently since the late 90's. Like I said, I'd put him in my top 5.

Last year ALC umpteenth run as best producer somewhat cemented him as my GOAT producer That's above RZA, Premo, Dre, and Madlib Main reason, every other month, he's making new production that blows my mind, while those other guys (with the exception of Madlib) are pedestrian at best these days...then again when you hold their classics up to ALC discography, that might be a tough call

Madilb is one of the most inventive producers of all time.

Dude infused hip hop with psychedelia, soul funk & jazz.. & he distilled that shyt into a unique sound. If nothing else no other producer has as much of a love for music as Madlib.
