In an All time NFL Draft, where would Jerry Rice be picked?

If all the players in NFL history where available in a pool with a fantasy draft type format, where do you think he would be picked? Top 5? Top ten? Top 20? What players would be taken over him?


The primary reason I ask this is because the guy is considered the GOAT by many people.

He's the best WR of all time but WR isn't really a position of great importance especially compared to QB, MLB, or DE.

All the GOAT quarterbacks would be picked first. Jerry is good, but give me Marino + a next tier WR like Owens, Cris Carter, or hell current day Megatron and a next tier RB and I'm good.

With today's rules I'm not so sure Jerry's skills are that much better than the best WRs today. And I say that as a huge fan.

I'd pick prime TO over Rice, rice benefited from a system and having TWO all time QB's

If you were to equalize the WR. I would think Jerry would be 3rd after Megatron, and Randy Moss. Just because Megatron will be the best jump ball WR ever, and Randy Moss is the best burner WR in the league. Jerry Rice is the best route runner in the league. He would go in the first round though for sho.

In time yes. Just because of his height plus vertical. Moss was better known for being able to burn secondaries.
