John Beilein is back at it once again. The five starters from the 2012 championship team are all now in the NBA (Burke,Hardaway GR3,Stauskas, and Mcgary) :obama:. Caris Levert is now the main guy and future lottery pick. Watching his progression from freshmen year to now is just :wow: Derrick Walton is expected to have a big year. What Beilein's does to his PG in their 2nd year in his system :banderas: (Morris, Burke) We all know Zak Irvin is a lights out shooter. He has now expanded his game and is now taking players off the dribble. Spike is the ultimate game manager and can run the offense like a starter. What concerns me the most is the front court. Heard good things about Mark Donnal but is still kind of skeptical. Max Bielfeldt also returns.

We have 6 freshmen coming in. With so much youth on the team I expect to some struggles in games in the beginning of the season. Kam Chatman is the star of this freshmen class. 6'7 smooth lefty SF who can score and pass the rock. DJ Wilson 6'9/6'10 SF/PF was another great find for Beilein. His wingspan is :wow: Aubrey Dawkins (son of Stanford's coach Johnny Dawkins) might be the best athlete on the team. Will see some explosive dunks from him this year. Ricky Doyle will be forced to play. Muhammad Alu Abdur-Rahkman might play this year. Austin Hatch survived 2 plane crashes:to: salute to Beilein and staff to honoring his scholarship and letting him live out his dream.

Big early games against Oregon, Syracuse and Arizona

s/o to beilein for scouting and identifying future pros. AGAIN.

DJ Wilson and kam chatman had that late season rise through the HS rankings

Ricky Doyle was a great kid to add to the class

Aubrey Dawkins is a future pro man..lookin like a young GR3...that athleticism... Beilein swiped him from DAYTON! :damn:

Unreal talent scouting! If McGary came back this team would have steamrolled right to the final four

Beilein's talkin like he's disappointed at the player development right now. :shaq:

He's demanding perfection now. :banderas:

We're gonna catch teams slippin this year.. watch. :steviej:

I will admit tho .. the only real gripe that I have with Coach B's recruiting .. I'd like more athletic big men, with shot blocking ability. Other than that, who the fukk am I to judge. :youngsabo:

Oh yea, and free daps to all.

Sucks losing Big Mitch, Nik & GRIII to the draft, but hey, that just shows how much work Coach B is getting from his players, and how he helps bring out their true potential.

Even with them gone, I still think we'll be okay with Derrick, Zak & Caris as this year's version of the 3-Headed Monster, so it's all good.

(But still, imagine a world where Trey, THJ, Mitch, Nik & GRIII stayed for 3-4 years... :banderas:)

My hopes this year is just at least another share of a B1G title, if above all else, another testament to Coach B's resume and career. As for the tourney, a Sweet-16 would be the ceiling for me. Everything after that would be gravy.
