Hawkeye literally has an entire speech where he talks about how crazy he feels as a dude with a bow fighting with all these superpowered beings in Avengers 2. Did you just happen to miss that? They def do that with Hawkeye
i mean, with what came of it anyways, they should have let him rock.Would have been perfect. But, Ed Norton likes to get real hands on with his character and the script. Disney would not have dealt with that at all.
the first two Hulk movies were good, the portrayal of David Banner and a good story is what put them above the more recent ones.
I hope so, he’d be the only male star of a Marvel movie to bag not a single woman nor have a woman interested in him.they hear you
he's getting a love interest in the movie![]()
ok that's true but he is not a sideman. Hawkeye plays off his weakness vs "nebulous avengers" ... falcon played off his weakness against a person.
that's the difference between you saying "i am only human" and "i am much worse than that guy over there". one is a general statement, the other is adopting an inferior position vs. an individual.
sam's problem that he is the eternal-sideman of the very man he is trying to replace
how are you going to hold up in a position when you have repeatedly said that the previous holder of that position is levels better than you?
that by definition makes you a worse cap - unless something changes.
mackie is a terrible actor so his personality is not going to bridge that gap.
thus the calls for a power up.
X-Men is the only thing that's gonna save MCU, and I'm not even banking on that watching their track record with every single film since Endgame. I don't Fantastic 4 resonate with people like X-Men. The villains are going to have to carry the show there. The problem isn’t Sam. It’s the character he’s replacing. Steve Rogers was one of the foundations of the MCU. Taking him away and Tony Stark with no replacement has been the biggest issue with the franchise.
But cap is one of the GOAT superheroes. How many marvel comics have you read? They’re cosmic beings who respect cap and talk highly about him. It tracks with the comics that Sam would feel that way.
So why didn't you think Marvel was finished back then since this exemplifies how all over the place the powerscaling always been? Why is Infinity War so goated despite powerscaling issues, Marvel brand of humor throughout the movie, plotholes and a villain that doesn't make any sense?
yep, this is why i hate when they make black characters unoriginal clones of white characters. Now he can't even be falcon anymore, people arguing why he isn't more like steve.
i don't like when they do it in the comics either. Falcon was more of a original black character before becoming a steve rogers clone. He's taken the mantle a couple of times in the comics so it's not some stretch for him to be Cap.
A lot of this is honestly going to depend on the script/plot. Hopefully the writers did a good job with his character in the movie.
edit: Who am I kidding, the writing has been buns too for a minute![]()
I hope they bring back Simone Missick so we can get falcon and misty knight, since they're not doing T'Challa and storm.they hear you

Wrong.X-Men is the only thing that's gonna save MCU, and I'm not even banking on that watching their track record with every single film since Endgame. I don't Fantastic 4 resonate with people like X-Men. The villains are going to have to carry the show there.
Bad or lukewarm writing can be beat with Star power, it's literally the reason why No Way Home was as revered as it was. I'm beating a dead horse, but it's why T'Challa should've been recast. Chadwick was the clear frontrunner to lead the MCU. T'Challa, a better written Strange, a better written Hulk, Thor, and a better written Captain Marvel could've carried the Multiverse saga, phases 4, 5, and 6.
