My dream: Contra, Super C, Contra 3: The Alien Wars, Contra: Hard Corps & Contra 4 (which was amazing on the OG DS if you haven't played) all remastered in HD and re-released on one disk. Never gonna happen though

I mean look if you're a teen, you've basically started gaming in the PS2 era basically, those NES were all patterns and muscle memory, on top of twitch reflexes, but we came up on that those kids are taking 3D concepts and trying to make them two dimensional, which is harder to do. Like any other game, they will get better with practice.

Never played anything beyond Super C, but I hear the rest was pretty good stuff (except for whatever one ended up on PS1). Even heard Contra Force isn't bad.

Played then all and they're all great. Hard Corps plays a bit different than the others bit it's sick.

Contra Force is trash though

It's a different era of video games. If you grew up playing shoot em up 2D side scrollers of course it will be easy to just pick up and play. But for someone who grew up in the PS3/PS4 era, this shyt is completely foreign..

There are 2D scrollers nowadays. Watching my cousins play any of the New SMB games or Donkey Kong is like sinking to the bottom of the ocean. I'm so ashamed of them.

I remember when I found my old sega one day, hooked it up and played with my cousin like we use to do when we were kids. Was playing Streets of Rage.. I was better than him back in the day. Those fukking goons gave me that work brehs

Bought my niece the Mario All Stars Wii release to make sure she was in the loop
