I can believe I've heard people try to claim this as a classic :scust:
There are really only three tolerable songs on this album :scust:
Lollipop played anywhere but a party :scust:
Mrs. Officer :trash:
Mr. Carter was carried by great production and Jigga :dame:
Who let p*ssy Monster even make the final cut :dwillhuh:
This album was fire when I was like 12 and saying "Lil Wayne is the greatest rapper of our generation" didn't sound retarded :mjcry:
I'd rather listen to No Ceilings on repeat than this waste of $9 :scust:

No this is a classic

Still I prefer C2 and maybe even C1 but this had way too much influence and the necessary quality to not be deemed a classic

Mr. Carter
Comfortable
Dr. Carter
Phone Home
Tie My Hands
Let the Beat Build
You Ain't Got Nuthin'
Dontgetit

All super dope tracks

I feel the same way, Carter 2 is a legit classic but III was always :patrice:

Mr. Carter still gets play though

Good production, but let's not pretend he didn't drop the ball on his verses.
Its like he spent the whole album rapping like he was in a cypher :scust:
Those poor beats :mjcry:
They deserved better treatment :mjcry:
That Phone Home chorus :trash: "PHONE HOME! Weezy. PHONE HOME! Weezy." :pachaha:

I think Dr. Carter was well executed but you got a point about the other two, especially Comfortable. That was soulful as fukk and he didn't do it justice. Tie My Hands was aight tho.

nah Carter III a classic and probably my fave Wayne album. It had so much variety imo, something for everyone.

It's more so classic because of the cultural impact revolving around it , Wanye was literally the most notable person in 2008. Quality wise some of the joints on there did age horribly , but if you were a pre-teen / teenager during that time , that era will always have sentimental value .

Carter II is more classic than Carter III if we're referring to quality and will always be Weezy Magnum Opus
