Your looking at it to black and white..I see what @Bigblackted4 is saying...City kids are (we're talking about the 90s pre internet era world was completely different) MORE LIKELY to be ahead of the curve socially cause they experience shxt differently navigating an urban environment...There is a certain speed/hustle/mentality you develop out of survival and adapting that can't really be replicated in a rural area...Overall its a different type of maturity ..Coming from a broken home in Vanessas case can definitely ante it up...So i could see how Kobe was probably fooled initially into thinking she was older, does it make it right that he still dealt with her I could see the argument on both side but ultimately who knows
