I don't really understand the point of these discussions. As someone who is older now, people between the ages of 17 and 20 are peers (just my opinion). Kobe lived a very sheltered life himself and was probably on the same level socially as a 17 year old when he was 20. And the women coming at him were looking for a meal ticket. The fact that Vanessa didn’t become a baby mama says a lot about her relative to most of the other girls NBA players deal with.

Apparently they started dating in 2001. Beyonce was born in September of 1981 and Jay December of 1969. That’s still a significant age gap, but 31 dating an 18 year old sounds worse than her being 19-20 when he was 31.
