I loved them both and watched both religiously but even though ILC hadn't aged well it was a product of its time, and was necessary. Chapelle wouldn't exist without the Wayans doing it first
and was less necessary at the time.

Nah breh, stop reading too much into it.
The comedic style and tone is what hasn't aged well, not the content.
ILC was pioneering, and like I said, was truly needed at the time much more so than Chapelle show which culturally/politicaly speaking wasnt needed.
It was good to have, don't get me wrong, but not necessary.
