It's a good thing in so far as setting a precedent for Nigeria.This is the first orderly transition to power of civilian leadership and given what Nigeria looked like with military dictators it is good. Ghana ,Kenya, Zambia, Senegal and Malawi have all experienced competitive elections, it is better than the previous big man leadership that was experienced on the continent. It wouldn't have been bad if those leaders were like Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore but many of them turned out to be useless.

Look, this guy was formerly a military dictator in the early 80s after successfully enacting a coup. He was heavy handled and was noted for human rights abuses and being heavy handed.

Furthermore, since he was removed from office, he lost campaign bids THREE TIMES IN A ROW ...thats a sign for you to go the fukk away

Yes i know that but he was a leader during Nigeria's military period of coups and counter-coups.It wasn't exactly the best of Nigeria's post colonial period and some of the leaders they had then did not do much to enhance Nigeria.
