This post makes no sense. Dude was getting over 1000 yards and 10+ touchdowns for 5 years straight. That's not short at all. I mean dude fell just short of 10K yards rushing

I just mean that as soon as he got MVP (his reign on top) next yr he was basically finished

like for example and yes i know yall gonna act like he don't count because he was successful the whole time,

but magic was drafted in 79-80 and basically out the league by 90-91. (came back briefly in 96 but was non factor)

just for comparison that would be like if lebron retired after playing for the heat instead of going to Cleveland and then to the lakers.

To me that was a short career especially for a hof level player.

but that at least was an actual reign and it was relatively short compared to other legendary greats. versus people like Jeremy Lin who just had a series of good games in a season before coming back down to earth. Lin didn't have a reign
