You don’t know what Sway thought Kanye was trying to create. You’re making an assumption. The only thing we can reasonably determine is that Sway’s question didn’t match up with Kanye’s intentions, based on Kanye’s response.
Either way, it doesn’t matter because my comment wasn’t about whether or not SWAY was right. It was about about whether Kanye was right in responding to him the way he did.
I’d also like to add that I’m sure Sway didn’t foresee the need to degrade yourself as a man, like Kanye had to do, to build the relationships required to achieve his goals. And I’d venture to say that if anything he went through in that regard led to his mental situation today, maybe he would have been better off just creating another FUBU, if that’s what Sway really thought. I mean Daymond John seems to have made it work for him, and he wasn’t even a Kanye type figure when he started.

This. Kanye was raging at the barriers of entry, but Sway didn't understand why he was holding so steadfast for a major investment when someone with Kanye's cache could just get something going lower key and build it up to there.
