Not to get into it with a burner account but Putin so far has just fermented Chaos...... and is taking advantage of it. Which is smart of course, him helping NK with nukes adds yet another insane factor on the global map to keep people's attention. I do believe his ultimate goal is the creation of a "protected" oligarchy class in America that is similar to the one in Russia. The Tax bill yesterday helped with that in the short term. The decision on Gerrymandering, SCOTUS Picks, and voter suppression would imply that those forces (that he set in motion by helping Trump win) will be permanent.
