Hogan's swerve was bigger than this....I can say I expected him to win this match but seeing how he performed in it I'm not surprised. I thought they'd give him one more year. That match was a huge let down from his past 4 WM matches

What's funny is the whole build up nikkas been saying how taker looked flabby
During the match everyone was saying taker looked done
Dude is 50 facing brawck who still is in his physical prime and arguably one of the toughest men in wwe history

Yet it still shocked everyone :ohlawd: Heyman and brawck reactions were just as amazing as the crowd

Ending was perfect and will be remembered forever. Sadly, the match was just trash

It's pretty up there. Hogan turning was bigger because with all the wwe defections that were happening he wasn't on the radar as a possible suspect, then when he revealed why he did it it went from being mad to :ohhh: shyt we deserved it because he's right.

The Screwjob made me more angry at the WWE than anything

I blame Steve Austin and his podcast tho dammit! :russ: He was so dismissive of the idea of Take ever losing the streak that I was like :ehh: well we can go ahead and wait to see how he counters the F5 into a tombstone. That shoulda sent up a red flag

The fact that they let the moment sink in and hit the graphic before they even started Brock's music was what made it burn.

#1, no question for me. Hogan/NWO had a bigger long term impact, yes.. but from sheer shock value, I don't think I've ever been surprised/stunned the way I was yesterday.

A pin could have dropped at one point last night and you would have heard it. :wow:

.........and I loved it :blessed:

They played that up perfect, it made you think everyone from Brock to Heyman to the Boys in the production truck were legit shocked Brock won. Even watching it, it felt surreal, I was staring straight at the screen but it even took my brain a second to process like maybe I missed the kick out lol.

Exactly wwe told us this was coming , they gave him the Tshirt about breaking the streak and taker looked old and flabby and dominated the build pretty much . The only real twist was Brock getting the upper hand at the last raw making sure we all thought he's lose

Takes the #1 spot for me. WWE built it up so much over the past ten to twelve years..you never thought it would end. Especially not last night, this was the one that seemed to be a shoe in more than ever. Someone in the WM thread said before the match that it'd be funny if Brock won because this is the night no one thinks Taker has a chance to lose. The reactions were perfect and the way they hit the music and the way the finish looked weird I think they did on purpose to kinda get people like :dwillhuh: was that a mistake?

Tops BATB96 for me cause I actually saw this live and the reactions were :banderas:. The ones on TV and the responses in here..plus it's so hard to shock fans nowadays so they definitely worked a tougher audience.

GOAT swerve in this regard...

With Bret, there was hella fukkery in the finish and there was uncertainty of whether people were really in on it or not.

When Goldberg lost, it was almost understandable b/c it was at Starrcade and Nash was pretty over, so we WANTED it to happen. Also, this was before the rise of super false finishes. We expect them now.

In this case, we were caught off guard because...

1) Brock's a part-timer. We figured an up-and-comer or another unanimous legend would end it.
2) Sting said his new favorite number was "31", so many were under the impression that the streak would be in the line next year.
3) They lulled us to sleep by being really methodical and not using many crazy spots. 3 announce tables there and neither of them went through 1? This won't be the match to end this.
4) The finish was so sudden and clean. One of the few times where a match ended clean and we felt as if we missed fukkery. They played it perfectly with the silence.

I'm watching at home like, "A 3rd F-5? Hm. Didn't it take like about 3 Rock Bottoms to put Austin away...but this is The Undertaker at MANIA... he'll be alright. If he kicks out of this, there's no quest-" :shaq2:

1....2.....3.....

"LIKE I thought, he kic- wait....THREE?!" :lupegarvey:

Crowd: :dwillhuh: :merchant: :mindblown: :skip: :ohhh::patrice::machodahell:

Heyman: :ohlawd:
Brock: :noah:

*21-1 flashes on the screen*

................................

Sound Guy:

"Ummm...."

It didn't feel real to me until Brock's music hit and even then, I was expecting something else to happen. I think everyone was.

Brock needs to come out to the gong before his music hits tomorrow. We won't see nuclear heat this insane for a LONG time. Dude killed people's childhoods and took away one of the most sure things in a lot of people's lives. :whew:

Hogan joining the NWO is first. No one can deny it's impact.

Undertaker losing is top 5, maybe even top 3. I got to put the Bret Hart screwjob ahead of it but that's all I can think of over it right now,
Montreal Screwjob was very confusing as to what exactly happened immediately after.

It's so hard to be surprised in this era cause there's just so many ways for info to get out now. Just look at the crowd. Brock hit's the 3rd F-5 and they're like 'another one? :beli:' and then when that ref hit three I've never seen so many jaws drop simultaneously in my life. When you get 75,000 people to  at the exact same time that shyt is special. Hogan dropping the leg will forever be the GOAT though. Those fans were legit  I've never seen so much trash being thrown in the ring.
