Thats only 90lbs, thats the crazy part.
Was about to say, 90 lbs isn't for casuals but it ain't enough to tear a bicep or tendon... at least of you're young (under 45). Judging from dude, this was pure ego lifting and it's ego lifting for not even a real flex.

Can go up to 100lbs which is the max my gym location has. Getting the weight to starting position is more complex than the set. Almost smacked myself in the eyebrow a couple years ago

Man. At my age getting injured is my biggest fear… at the gym anyway.

It’s important to train hard but people have to understand …this is a lifetime endeavor.

You don’t have to get jacked and strong in a year. If it goes well you’re gonna be lifting for 30, 40, 50 years. The gains are gonna come over time.

One of the things that I don’t like about so many bodybuilding and fitness advice channels is how they make content assuming their viewers all want to be super jacked. Most people couldn’t give a shyt about calves and traps and boulder shoulders and getting shredded. They just wanna look good, fit in nice clothes and feel better.

But you see guys getting hurt like this and I can’t help but think at least part of it is trying to flex.
