You're either poor or rich? The logic failed right there..lol @ the poor cutoff being 100k...ok. Maybe if you're a family of 8 living in manhattan, sf, or Honolulu

Lol, Thats funny.. but everyone has their own opinion so I'm not mad and him and I don't know what context he said that in.

As long as you have a roof over your head, a car and enough money to pay your bills and put food on the table you aren't poor in my eyes...

But if you combine me and wifey's income we make well over 100K a year so :ld:

Back in college, there was a executive from Disney who came and spoke to our class. He told us our generation would need $10 million at retirement age to live as we pleased. Work is a life sentence for most people, find something you enjoy.

THAT'S HIGHBALLING IT BY A LOT. AVERAGE SENIOR CAN LIVE A DECENT RETIREMENT ON 50K A YEAR. THAT'S ONLY 1.5MIL OVER 30YEARS. UNLESS HE'S FACTORING IN INFLATION. IF SO HE HAS TO FACTOR IN WAGES POSSIBLY GOING UP AND THAT INCREASING YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY AND PENSIONS/SAVINGS.

WORK IS A LIFE SENTENCE FOR THE UNPREPARED. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY TYPE OF SECONDARY INCOME BY RETIREMENT THEN IT'S POSSIBLE YOUR RETIREMENT COULD SUCK.
