the overlying problem is people caring too much about threads doing numbers or flopping. its been like this since the coli opened and personally tlr has always been my least favorite subforum.


this retarded desire to do big numbers results in a bunch of forced thread topics and a bunch of half assed trolling being done by members who are out of pocket in the troll game anyways. the flip side to this is that normal members get discouraged and scared to make real threads for the fear of flopping.

basically, some of yall is doing too much


if yall want us to start being more strict on the mod front, we can do that...but i dont wanna see a bunch of complaint threads and bunch of whining if we do that

A perfect example of this just happened in the booth today with my boy @Chief

First he posted a thread about this very personal song by Jean Grae that could've sparked a serious discussion about abortion and shyt but NO ONE replied. So then he flipped the script and made a recycled thread about Ether being overrated and the shyt went 4 pages in.

shyt is like how BET transformed from actually being credible to being a rosetta stone for stereotypes

i forgot to bold the first sentence that I was referring to in my post, about posters being afraid to make threads in fear of a thread flop. That shouldnt scare posters into not making threads tho. If more posters werent so afraid of this "thread flop" or not doing numbers then there WILL BE plenty of great discussions going on in this forum. Only threads that posters really get attacked for making is obvious troll/gay threads.
