People like to shyt on Whitman, but regardless of his philosophies, he has had the Wizards overachieving in the playoffs the last few years. At the end of the day he has had great playoff success, and that's the mark of a good coach to me. He's good in my book, no matter how aloof or incompetent he may seem.

I'd take it everytime. Practice it make it a tool. Back off pull up for the mid play close blow by them. Pick aND roll hit the mid. Look at cp3.

If you're an above average mid range shooter sure. However Beal isn't that, neither is DeRozan.

Mid-range jumpers used to be the outside shot before 3-pointers existed. Now, its almost like there's a push to either pass it out to get a three pointer or pass it or drive it in to get the guaranteed two points.
