You can't advance without that respect. If the person does not treat you with the common decency they afford the average person, you might as well have 'em kick them rocks.

They don't owe you to cut all their friends/family off. If these are things they wish to do as you become exclusive, great. But you have to earn these from them, and they have to want to give them to you.

Yea man. I remember when my first and only girl (before my current) broke up with me I had a talk with my oldest bro and was down about it. I gave him details about a convo where I was trying to make her think rationally and realize that she was overreacting to the situation. He told me something similar and I listened for the most part. but one day I decided i need closure and we basically aired it all out in a big argument and I stopped talking to her. Yadda yadda yadda and if I wanted to I'm sure I could have her back but eff it.

Goes to show the less you care, the more the opposite side wonders why they have lost their grip or power over you and the more they care.


But damn, It's always hard when you hear that R. Kelly or Stevie Wonder song and think, "Nah fukk this, I gotta get my girl back." It's very important to repress those thoughts so you dont make a fool out of yourself.

Theres a Stevie Wonder song - "Until you come back to me." That shyt will have the biggest womanizer plotting to get his ol girl.
