People who only watch sports during big events(Superbowl, MMA/Boxing prize fight, FIFA World Cup,etc)
Anyone who prefers a good story over on field/court performance such as Jeremy Lin or Tim Tebow fans

It's not just the Lakers though, all of the wellknown franchises have those fans. I know plenty of fans that ride or die for the Lakers, Cowboys, Yankees, etc but those fanbases are flooded with fairweather and/or casual fakkits as well.
