. This all day!!!! My man need not make gourmet meals but he must know the basics. But if you cant put it down inthe bedoom it's done. Pointless friggin relationship.

my wife isnt really a great cook, but only because the kitchen intimidates her. she feels like if her dishes dont taste like her mom's, it isnt good. so she acts like a scared church mouse in the kitchen unless she makes chicken with peppers n onions which is her specialty. i cook most of the time since i enjoy it anyway 
. she cleans the kitchen when im done tho.
to say she isnt a good wife because of that is kind of stupid tho.

It's a damn shame when a woman can't even cook a decent meal for her own damn kids.
this hurts my heart...when I see kids/toddlers walking around with there McDonalds' bag...that aint right....

i'll never forget what my great grandma(RIP) told me as a youngin, because i never thought i'd hear this from a woman's mouth EVER!!!
now remember my great grannie grew up and lived all her life on a farm, and in times where the woman was responsible for the house duties and the man brought home the bacon. she only lived a short period in the city, but the things she saw ,living with my aunt(RIP),she did not approve of at all
she basically said: my boy, i've observed the modern woman and she cannot do shyt when it comes to 'keeping a house'. you cannot rely on any of them and i will teach you how to cook,clean and iron a shirt!!!

she, along with my mom, taught me everything.
long story short - i don't need my woman for all of that, i can do it on my own.
my current girl though is a great cook!!!

nope. I made a roux, used cheddar, dried mustard, a dash of lawry's and black pepper, with pasta.

I just happen to know how to make a roux.
we have a lot of family functions and get togethers and its cooking involved….imagine my family coming over to these dinners and they like who cooked and every time my wife has to be like "him" every time cause she can't or won't learn how to cook
