So they got Brad writing but not directing.![]()
I don’t think it’s bad, just kinda whelmed. I’d rather have Brad all the way back for something like this. This is his baby.It says in the article that Brad's busy with other projects and the guy directing it is his protégé. He's been involved in all of Brad's movies up to this point.
It's not inherently a bad thing. John Lasseter didn't direct Toy Story 3 and look how that turned out.
Last part is pretty much what Brad himself did last time though, on both fronts. You can have an offensively mid script, but polished direction and action sequences like Incredibles 2. Maybe Disney shouldn’t have rushed bro.Brad is still writing.. if the script is good the movie is good.. the director ain’t gonna turn a bad script into good movie or vice versa
