OP's point is that people, (in this case women) who go out of their way to make it seem like its one way, when its the other way, (i.e. being independent when they can't afford to support their children without government assistance) are members of society that need to be exposed for this type of behavior...and due to the forum in which this shyt is being discussed...its clear that it should have been taken in a light banter/talking shyt manner and not as serious as a viewing of Schindler's List.
Where it became derailed is when people segued into a black woman bashing marathon as it relates to any single (ahem black) mother having to rely on food stamps due to being an irresponsible jizz hound. This couldn't be further from the truth and simply serves as a testament to what this forum is unfortunately becoming equated to...Sotomayorville.
Don't get me wrong, there are some dumb ass women that do nothing but contribute to the socioeconomic instability of the U.S. with their willful exploitation of welfare/WIC/whatever, but in drawing blanket generalizations from those instances, you only get exposed for the inherit issues you have with black women.
Honestly though...I don't understand how the concept of contraception or celibacy is hard to grasp when you're broke

Is it? I know I've seen women who are impoverished decide to hook up with a man with a lot money (legal or illegally made). On paper, the woman qualifies for assistance, but to others she is living the good life. I wouldn't want a life like that and at that expense.
This is not directed towards you. It's just a thought. I have never understood the stories of people living like millionaires on welfare. Is it suppose to make the case that no one else, the other people that are unknown and living below the poverty line, deserves assistance? Since the stories of welfare queens are usually stereotypes that are not supported statistically (just word of mouth), what's the point?
