Our grandparents never cooked with gloves., they taste they food with they hands, tasted they food off the big cooking spoon.

Most people in human history haven't worn gloves to cook. That part while gross, from my very western and bougie pov, isn't too bad. It's the cooking food on the floor and spitting in it for me. Ain't no way you're coming back without food poisoning.

This may sound fuccked up but it’s the reason why I can’t be paid to eat Indian food. My mind goes in all types of places. The possibility the cook sneezed in his hands and didn’t wash it. Or used the restroom and didn’t wash. Or many of the countless possibilities. That’s just too much.
