Nothing will change till women in large numbers start getting taken to the cleaners in divorce.

As a history buff, this is a mix of cap and generalizations. Maybe specific places like Dahomey where it was said everyone was the descendant of royalty.

You are leaving out key details. The elites had multiple wives, some had harems and eunuchs sure but they didn't take all the women in most of history. 40% of men have had offspring, not 10%. Them old Christian kingdoms in the Middle Ages didn't tolerate harems because it was seen as oriental shyt.
