If there's a decent sized chinatown in you're area, I'd check out the jewelers there. Chinese value the same qualities in gold (deep, pure yellows) that indians do and will probably be more receptive to bargaining with you as well (especially if you have cash). I copped my wife a jade bracelet from a women that we like going to for christmas last year. Her store actually was posted on here a couples months back lol

Yea I'm still researching. Prices are kind of crazy. I read that Chinese don't even sell 14k gold in China. They try to get 24K for everything
Years ago I knew an African dude who used to get those deep yellow pieces for himself. He used to always suggest I get some through him. Crazy thing is people think 24K pieces look fake because they so used to seeing diluted gold

24K gold is SOFT. 14-18K is much more durable for everyday wear
