A little town called none ya got damn bidness
Them Fever fans actively downplayed Kelsey especially when she started going off on their win streak :mjpls:
They were pissed when her twin sister Chelsea retweeted a post that was saying the offense should go through her or something to that effect

hilarious that folks are running the same Steph agenda plays but it was obvious this was gonna happen once the weirdos who only "agenda post" flocked to women's basketball once it got popular. The women's basketball thread is already hard enough to read as it is with those weirdos in it, we don't need the board more clogged up than it already is with dumb threads.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
There is a misconception about Clark arriving to a shytty team with shytty players and assume she would uplift a bunch of no names. Kelsey Mitchell arrived when they were at the beginning of rebuilding. Indiana's current head coach replaced their championship winning coach after she retired. But White left after 2 seasons and Tamika Catchings retired when she left.
Indiana had trash ass teams but eventually got the number 1 pick which got them Boston. They were always lacking a competent point guard.

Oddesy Simms isn't getting enough credit either. With her her, they don't make the playoffs. And Ari McDonald got them wins before she got hurt as well.

The black players have been carrying this team, yet the media only focuses on the CAC hoes.

We’ve seen how the Fever play without Clark since she got drafted. I’d be curious to see how successful they would be if Clark were healthy while either Mitchell or Boston were out for an extended period of time.

I actually just looked it up and I see Clark has never played without both Mitchell and Boston. Even if one of them were missing, I think the Fever would be a worse team than they were this season with Clark missing a lot of games.

Her playmaking and gravity is missed dearly on that team. Odyssey routinely misses reads she would make.

what makes the most sense is Clark becoming more of a facilitator of that team when she returns. she lacks the physical tools to be both the floor general and primary scorer (tho that Liberty game shows that when shes on, she wont miss). Mitchell and Boston should be getting the lions share of shots up, with Clark taking the occasional three to further the stretch the floor.

If we’re going that route you could easily say they’re missing Aari McDonald’s steady hand
They miss Aari’s scoring punch as well. But to act like this team is better without the player they’re built around is crazy.
