They damn sure want to minimize luxury cap penalties though. I dont think they will want to add anymore serious salary to next years cap unless it CLEARLY puts them over the top
Considering how good they are now getting absolutely nothing from granger, I'd expect them to see themselves as the favorites if they add a legit player

yo the danny granger story has to be one of the weirdest stories. I think he's purposely not playing bc he knows he's gonna be traded and if he doesn't play he has low value. I mean this guy in 2012 played in a lot of games, then all of sudden over the summer gets some weird ass knee injury that keeps him out the entire year. And he played in the 2012 preseason too

I been saying they should have picked up Chauncey Billups old ass in the off season. That alone would have gotten them over the hump and had Miami 
They don't need much from a pg, just take care of the ball, make a few plays, and knock down the open 3. A veteran guard will do just fine, just rest him enough in the regular season so he's healthy by playoff time.

If you watch the Pacers play you'll see they don't need much from a pg like I said. Even an old Billups can take care of the ball and knock down the open 3...if you watched his games this year you'll see he can still do that just fine.
