2.Auto purchases from my account (for the buys defined in #1).

thats the point. Cant no one hack your physical gold. They would have to literally steal it or take it from you. If the system goes to shyt or if anything happens, you have a tangible asset you can see, hold, etc.
but I cant buy Gold in fragments at high frequency which is what I want. I guess I'll just do quarterly buys with the weekly amounts I'd want to use. Is Pure gold what people buy?

That's not in dispute though. It was necessary evil to get consumers to spend more money coming off of the pandemic, but it also created the inflation situation that we're seeing now. Hence the mention of them initially saying that it was a "temporary" and "short term thing."
