Buy property when the housing market is at a all-time high? :francis:

Nah, save your money and wait for the inevitable housing crash that's coming once the FED begin raising interest rates next month. There will be hella property flooding back onto the market in 1-2 years for much cheaper prices than they are now.
It’s funny how mfers expect people on here to drop everything to buy exponentially overpriced million dollar homes as if the average black person in this country has a median wealth of less than 1000 dollars.

Still funny to expect that same black person to be able to afford that same house at 800k in 1-2 years from now if your predictions are correct.

True but I was just out there like three weeks ago visiting fam and celebrating my birthday. I'm always looking at homes out there when I visit. Had my rent-a-car and visited all the southern region. Douglasville, the entire airport region way past Old National Highway, etc. Liked Hapeville area but its surprising that one-third of the city is still rural, country, and in the woods even the ATL proper. Its very suburban especially in the outer perimeter with cookie cutter neighborhoods and developments with not much urban amenities and old strip malls. They just need to do a bunch of infill developments and fill in the open areas. I know its going up in price but still they have so much open land just like Texas and Arizona if they so chose to build upon it.

Atlanta is an old Indian word meaning Tge land of Ugly Sprawl.

The housing market in the Southern United States is completely overvalued that is almost a joke.

All of the transplants from the North & West has straight up fukked up the housing market in the Southern United States.
Blame the corps as well buying up the houses to sell to those people at any even higher price.

My man casually tossed out a 25% decrease like it’s nothing
Well I wasn't really using any facts or nothing. I just keep hearing folks saying I'm gonna wait until these prices drop back down to buy. Ppl seem to think that houses are going to go back down to 200-250k in places like out here in Cali, when they haven't been at that level in over a decade plus. All I was saying is basically they will not drop down like that probably ever again. 450k and up is the new normal. Hell the median price here in SD County is right above a million dollars. So if they drop like ppl think then the drop won't be no damn 700k drop
