The same nikkas that was beggin for more stimulus and expanded unemployment are crying about inflation
nikkas either dumb or just want shyt to cry about .
over infrastructure jobs being created that paid $93K.breh, we printed 3 trillion unbacked dollars in under 2 yearsThe checks didn’t cause inflation. Shutting down the economy and then restarting it did. Prices need to readjust, jobs are being created at a rapid speed, etc all these things are impacting inflation. People getting three checks from the government has nothing to do with it.
Im not arguing against the shut down. It needed to be done. But the rapid economic improvement since then has juiced the economy in quite a wild way. Which is a good thing of course…but these prices have to go down.
can we agree that that added to inflation? it's not a partisan talking point. like i said, i took and spent every free check they threw at mei havent eitherThis must be regional, because I haven’t observed a marked spike in prices around here. Groceries cost around the same they did a year ago.

the comparison that’s apt is to 2019Ok, then, I’ll use the start of the pandemic. Prices are around the same. I mostly shop at Whole Foods, and I haven’t noticed a change.Because they already cost more a year agothe comparison that’s apt is to 2019
Trump doesn’t deserve blame either, he did the right thing. Printing money in of itself doesn’t cause inflation. We print a shyt ton of money all the time. Again the problem was that large portions of the economy were closed, and then when we re-opened we had insane jobs numbers, people returning to buying things, products being produced again etc that it went off the rails.breh, we printed 3 trillion unbacked dollars in under 2 yearscan we agree that that added to inflation? it's not a partisan talking point. like i said, i took and spent every free check they threw at me
my first two checks came from trump, so blame the republicans for all i care. it was just a terrible fukkin scenario all around
