The one downside to this is the DC media will almost certainly run with the narrative that the Dems could have passed more all along if they hadn't gone "too far left."

Not really for inflation, just named it that because inflation is hot right now and if you term it “Inflation Reduction” the general public will bite it.

It's not about "Inflation Reduction" it's about cost reduction. I see how they spun it as Inflation Reduction, though, because ultimately the costs to consumers is going down
