I'd tell him to get in line or be stripped of his committee chair and other seats if necessary. He wants power and that can easily be taken away from him.
Bernie is the budget chair and much was spoken about how that's a powerful seat for him. What should he be doing here wrt to Manchin?

Manchin has all the power because he can easily join the Republican party or decide to align with McConnell on the vote count, which would essentially make McConnell the majority leader again. Making any real threat against him like Twitter progressives have been suggesting won't work. If anything getting threats from progressives or pissing off progressives works for him politically since West VA is a solid GOP state.
