They literally tried to pin it to the House and paint the progressives as radicals holding back the agenda until about two weeks ago when that arbitrary deadline came and Biden finally shut it down. I'd speculate that if he were more aggressive with Manchin and Sinema, we might have a shot at passing something more robust but I admit it's pure guesswork with these two being so ridiculous.

Luckily the country is becoming more diverse and progressive. And by 2024 there is no telling where we'll be at as a country. Perhaps (hopefully) climate change will at that point be an immediate concern for most people and they'll vote accordingly. But thats wishful thinking.

Its a real tragedy that we have two senators who are so blinded by their own greed that they cannot see the importance of this moment in history. But it is a testament to just rotten and corrupt this this country has become.

I am hopeful, but idk if people are as plugged into what's going on currently. I feel the hostility only rises when the threat is in our face, like it was under Trump.

I have no idea what you’re saying here. All throughout the media the progressive caucus has been the face of the criticism with former Democrats saying they are in the right. Not exactly sure what else you’re talking about. It’s a clear good cop, bad cop routine.
