Pretty much this. She’s a safe and moderate politician who comes across and measured and thoughtful. She’s a former judge and doesn’t really stand out in a way that would draw the attention of national politics.
Her opponent is a Trump sycophant and anti-democracy American.
If the big cities and black folks turn out she should win by a point or two.
I’m wary though because Charlotte general elections have passed.
