Oh yeah my sister is Gen Z born in 97. Can you believe she asked me to co sign a 25k Honda accord for her because the dealership told her she don’t make enough money and my dad told her helllllll no because my brother won’t pay on the car that he consined then she done wrecked like 2 cars and burnt the house down that my dad grew up in because she leaving 100 items plugged up. She definitely got fired from Walmart of all places for showing up late…..Gen Z are definitely some damn idiots :francis:
Y'all making this into a Gen Z thing are really acting like you don't know Millennials or Gen Xers who are like this?

This is why people from 3rd world countries (or 2nd world whatever the fukk it is) are flooding up 1st world countries.

And big organizations are happy about it cause they can exploit immigrants.

A new study reveals that 3 in 4 business managers say Gen Zs, a.k.a. the TikTok generation, are “more difficult to work with than past generations.”

In the study published by Resume Builder, nearly 75% of managers and business leaders surveyed say they find Gen Zs to be lazy, unmotivated, lack technological skills, and lack discipline.

The real problem is people are not being given the right incentive.

Of course people aren't going to be motivated to work when the job pays them peanuts and provides no security. They're no longer buying into the con.
They ain't got looks for nothing but peanuts..they look so angry in Publix, Kroger, Zaxbys...I be rolling. Leave out with like $300 worth of food just shaking my head.

She need to fulfill her role as Martin's new sidepiece

That man just got a hollywood star, he's clearly a high value brother who deserves multiple options

:wow:

I bet deep down she wanna let him hit that box again too.....if he hasn't already

:wow:
Your gay
What you mean? Try getting gen Z to fukk with a windows computer and some shyt goes wrong. Desktops are like archaic technology to them. Gen Z are about simplicity and tap and app nikkaz for the most part.

I got Gen Z cousins man and they always be asking me to fix they laptop or why is there shyt not connecting and shyt.

Growing up on face, YouTube don’t equal tech skills bro.

They be gen before them grew up in the net without apps, we were learning Linux on game consoles ect. Creating websites ect.

Apps has streamlined all that shyt, to the point you don’t need to do any of it.

Back when I use to stream I needed a green screen, I needed a webcam, capture card ect.

Tik toc does all that shyt in one app, which is dope, but it takes away the skills that I had learn to put all that shyt together

Small problem, the skills you gain at work aren’t the ones you gain in college. These companies want finished products and a manager has already admitted as much in this thread. As I pointed out, I’m a wiz at excel but I had none of that shyt for my first job. They have the baseline skills to learn this shyt Moreso than the generations that came before them.

The biggest problem in all of this is Gen X and Boomers are morons who seem to completely misremember how they came up. It’s pathetic stuff but all this shyt about millennials and gen x being lazy is a fukking lie. Why do y’all continue to push this bootlicking capitalist tripe?

Millennials and gen z not falling for the lies of corporations and government doesn’t make them lazy. It makes them smarter than the ones who lie to them

I understand it. Most jobs are soul sucking enterprises. Even the ones that require advanced degrees. I went to grad school with some people that ended up as brand managers for big companies. They make good money, but can you imagine spending your life thinking of better ways to sell potato chips? Like you entire existence is based on how to sell more Cheetos or Frito Lays. :heh:

Tbh, the idea of basing your value as a person from work seems absurd to me…so I totally get what Gen Z is saying.

In some regards I can see this. Immigrants do the most damage when they come in and settle for low pay.

However, that's why the work standard/culture for the industry is so vital to establish.

For example, the entire world over knows about insane tech salaries and ain't trying to take sucker pay when they come to America.

When a loudmouth American out there talking about $800k/year TC, everyone sees that. A lot of those subreddits and social media are actually full of people from those countries so they for sure see these posts. Many other Americans, especially Gen Zers get on those sites and take the opportunity to tell people not to settle for low pay so it pushes the price up. Basically got to give these CEOs no breathing room.

Indian (maybe Middle Eastern) dude we interviewed recently turned down our job because he wanted nothing less than $400k/year.
Unfortunately, the most somebody makes here is below that so we had to pass on a bright prospect.
It also explains why our company is down bad right now and can't attract good talent vs our competitors. CEO is going to have to realize he needs to open up that checkbook or it's over.

You see somebody like this, and they definitely going back to their country to tell them as well:

Tech industry is a great example of the youth pushing old people around and not settling for blind loyalty, office parties and those good old-fashioned "doo hickies and okie dokes". It's about "fukk you, pay me" and not settling.

Right now is a critical point where every industry needs to push for the same. Tech is taking people from other industries and creating vacuums so it's time for those industries to ask for more money because talent is getting thin.

What's funny is that my supervisor gets the same impression of me:pachaha:.

I work at my own pace in accordance with the deadline and downright won't shyt that I think is stupid or a waste of my time. Millennials and other generations will do shyt without asking questions.

If you don't have the experience, why are you asking for a high salary right out the gate?

What is with the entitlement? Gen X failed Gen Z in this regard...

You aren't wrong

Half these program suites are drag and drop now.

We had to learn html and whatever else.

So they don't have soft skills per se beyond knowing how to drag and drop
I love how you guys are saying this like all milennials know HTML or can work a Linux program while simultaneously acting like most of Gen-Z are lost when using a computer:dead:

Old people have been complaining about young people since ancient times.

Americans work longer hours and harder than pretty much any country on the planet. In France if you try to lengthen the work week over 36 hours they riot.

Americans been getting conned and Zennials are just the first to wake up to it.

How you are in a country with near unlimited natural resources and habitable space yet unable to guarantee quality of life for every citizen if they don’t work 50 hours a week. :mjlol:
Basically I agree it will always be a generational divide. Things change drastically some for the better some for the worse so generations will always have differences. Hopefully things change enough where Gen Z wins and all the other generations benefit. This is a capitalistic society that's slow to change though so idk it could go bad for the gen z mentality.

The same was said about millennials, they called us lazy too. Now it's our turn to call a generation lost and lazy :pachaha:

Gen z will do the same to gen alpha when the time comes and gen bravo will blame millennials for fukking everything up the same way we blame the boomers

All I'm saying is it's normal to criticize the generations that came before and after you
