When specific organs are ripped out of a body they are usually sold in the Black Market / Underground. Sucks for that guy.

lol this is not an organ donor conspiracy.....People spread that rumor in Mexico, 'oh they are kidnapping kids and selling their organs'. It's bullshyt. Even a brief glance will tell you that. That should NOT be the takeaway from this story.
First of all, the organs need to be surgically removed by a professional, then kept in specific temperatures, there is a whole scientific/,medical process to it, that I am largely ignorant of, but I can say it is not as simple as cutting someone open and putting his heart in a hefty bag with ice from a vending machine. There are qualifications. Standards of the organs.
I'd say almost without a doubt this was a crime of opportunity, and the victim was murdered by his cell mate using the riot as a distraction. The body mutilated to cover the crime/ or personal cause reasons, and the organs removed as mere circumstance, or ritual. The killer will have a history of violence, and similar behavior.
Small chance, it was a contracted job for other inmates for internal politics reasons. The dismemberment speaks to more then that though.
The takeaway is the need for prison reform. What a world, a society we live in where things like this happen in facilities run by OUR government. Shameful and unforgivable.
