There's an entire culture dedicated to corporation/console stans.... These people are borderline(and some cases extremely)mentally ill. Smashing a brand new console on release night is a rush and a shot at Sony/Playstation stans who worship anything Sony makes... The same thing will happen when Microsoft releases the new X-Box......

Sony already has your money.... Why support if you're gonna destroy the box?

My mother has robbed Wal-Mart for years with this.... She would buy a new VCR/DVD/Blu-Ray player then seal the broken player in the box like it's never been opened.... As long as you have the receipt and the box is sealed they don't say much. Her excuse.... We bought too many..
