These lazy claims irk the fukk out of me. Especially with the young guys as if QBs come into league being able to read defenses. I only seem to read this with black QBs. And it again goes back to the stupid group think that black QBs are not intelligent enough. Whether it's Cutler, Stafford, Locker, etc...the knock is never on their intelligence. Never hear how Dalton can't read a defense. Why is it?

BTW, I don't know how nikkaz who have no clue what a QBs reads are can sit back there and determine whether he can or can't read a defense. Reading defenses comes with experience. Also comes with a solid system, good line, etc. I have no clue how folk expect that shyt in a 2,3,4 year vet still learning the game.

Save for Locker, the wonderlic scores are higher than the black QBs. I think it is a stupid test but a lot of stock is placed in it. I'm sure more is placed on other aspects but a lot of the QBs are labeled with the 'not so bright' label before they even take a snap in the NFL.

Nikkas watch Merrill Hoge, Jaws, and Trent fukking Dilfer of all people break down a few hand-picked plays on ESPN and take the analysis as gospel. I always assume they're judging the reads purely by trying to watch the qb's eyes, so they basically know as much about their reads as we do. If these dudes know so damn much about playing the QB position and play concepts, then why the fukk aren't they coaching?

the problem that I notice about this site and other sites like it, or other ppl that follow black qb's is that they ONLY really pay attention to whats being said about black qb's so they think that they are the only ones being talked about.
and if they do watch other games they usually watch other teams with good qb's so they don't hear it.

but you don't hear all the dudes saying guys like Orton, or Hoyer, or Shaub,etc,etc being talked about the same cuz most ppl don't watch them. nor are they getting any pub.

and about the younger guys,

how many Jags games do you watch? Bortles gets the same criticism.

Also I hear TONS of ppl talking shyt about Dalton, Stafford, and Cutler and how they can't really read defenses well and rely solely on their receivers to bail them out(Green, Megatron, and marshall/jeffries respectively)

everyone I've heard says Winston is the best QB prospect. Makes all the right throws, reads a defense very well. Smart in the pocket and does everything you'd want...and does it well.

Marino, Kelly, Bradshaw, Testaverde had terribly low wonderlic scores.

Kaep's wonderlic is 37 and he's considered dumb to many.
