I was in class, but they didn't turn on the news. They just said something happened in New York and left it like that. I had to wait to get back home before I found out what happened. My cousin died at the Pentagon and her family took it hard.
I went to a high school that a lot of military kids were in the school district, im talking probably 40-50% of the school was military kids, a lot of them had parents in the pentagon and we were right across the street from an air force base. So we were on lock down because we got word that we may be a target as well plus kids and teachers couldnt get ahold of their family members in the pentagon

i live on the west coast... we just went to school as usual at my school, didn't watch any news or anything, it had all pretty much happened at that point.
i think we talked about it for a few minutes in class and then just went on to normal shyt. i was only 9 tho.

people were just sharing their experiences in the classroom that day.
i will say as someone who didn’t go to NYC until I was an adult, it probably had far less of an impact on me. NY almost felt foreign to me as a person living in California, some shyt you only see on TV and in movies. again I was only 9 tho.

It does look like a time machine. But all cameras were not digital back then. We have to remember that. This was around the time everything was starting to change over to digital.
The way the video started you can tell this was copied from a video tape.
