Dope game so far. Atmosphere is done very well. Overall it screams limbo. Not necessarily a bad thing. This game is definitely not better than ori and the blind forest though. This game is more oddworld Abe's odyssey and ori and the blind forest is metroid. Not taking away anything from inside, I just consider ori and the blind forest to be close to a masterpiece and has a lot more going on.

I actually mentioned it because in your thread you were the one that brought it up out of nowhere. You said inside is better than ori and the blind forest, and that was when you had only played an hour roughly.

Ok, I spent about an hour and a half on it before I went into work.
Ladies and gentleman... THIS GAME IS SO fukkIN BOMB... nuff said :whew:

To compare it to Limbo... Limbo was a cool game. Then it got hard as fukk near the end and I was on some "I ain't got time for that" but I do wanna revist and finish. This game is SOHH much more interactive. If you are into really good games, then I advise you to stop reading now. I'm not giving any spoilers, I'm just gonna speak on some early level details. IMO its better if you just experience it instead of reading about it. I don't wanna ruin a masterpiece.

Of course there are the doubters since this thread isn't even a sticky :snoop: Look, has nothing to do with me, everything to do with this game being that good. Go check the reviews, they all saying what I'm saying so...:francis:
Now, for the gameplay. Instead of running from random environmental objects, this game has you dealing with people that shoot at you, dogs that will chase you down realisitically, you take mind control over others and control them in the background/foreground depending on the situation. This game makes LIMBO seem like a bad game. And its this good from the very start. I haven't been this high on a game since Ori, and this is better than Ori (so far) so if you too "slow" to own an xbox? Go cop this on steam TODAY

That's why I mentioned ori, court. Inside is cool, so far, but it's in no way better that ori, so far. But outside of being side scrolling games that's where the similarities end. They are both very different and set out to accomplish different things.

Only heard of it right before it released and was intrigued. Didn't think it was a big title release. Then the reviews came out :wow:

Not sure whether to cop for XB1 or PC. Laptop can handle it, I think :patrice:

I'm pretty sure most mediums could handle it including Xbox 360

Saying it's better is an opinion
Ori probably is the better game because of its polish but inside has many secrets so to be continued. I liked it alot because it wasn't too hard or too easy thru out. Never a dull section. Rarely can any game achieve that

Just beat the game last night. They did a great job with the atmosphere and the art style. It was fun but it definitely wasn't a 10. The puzzles were very easy. I can't think of a single puzzle that slowed me down at all. It's a pretty short game too. The story is completely nonexistent and made the overall experience feel shallow for me in the end. The things that happen in the game build it up as something incredibly interesting is about to be explained but in the end. Instead, the character falls flat and the credits roll. I'm sure some e-philosophers with Google degrees will break down the symbolism that only the enlghtened minds can perceive but the truth is the game itself does nothing at all to really explain what's going on and why it's going on, outside of a few assumptions the player can make such as; human experimentation, mind control, and torture. In the $20 range of games it sits in the top bracket of its competition though easily and I recommend everyone play through the game in its entirety at least once. Story /context complaints aside, the pacing of the game and atmosphere are top notch and keep you hooked all the way to the disappointing end. (The game has two endings. Neither of them explain anything at all)
